BB Gandanghari hopes Pope's visit opens people's minds to LGBT community

Joyce Jimenez - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines- BB Gandanghari looks forward for the arrival of Pope Francis in the Philippines on Thursday.

She sees the Pope as a symbol of peace, which she hopes each and everyone of us could have.

BB has also expressed his hope that the Papal visit could open the minds of some who still takes other sexual orientations negatively.

“I hope mabuksan din ang isip ng mga tao, 'yong mga sarado pa, na we really can't judge people,” she said in an interview on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Padilla siblings will work again in one project under TV5's upcoming sitcom “2 1/ 2 Daddies.”

BB said she remembers in this project their 1994 film “Mistah,” only this time they'll be doing a comedy show. It was conceptualized by BB and Rommel, and they later pitched to Robin who approved the story.

There were previous attempts for the three of them to be working together again, only they didn't push through.

“2 1/ 2 Daddies” will start airing on January 24, 7 p.m.
