9TV’s five-day coverage of Papal visit

MANILA, Philippines - 9TV invites viewers to its special coverage of Pope Francis’ five-day apostolic visit to the Philippines.

Anchor Pia Hontiveros will be traveling with the Pope throughout his trip from the Vatican to the Philippines and back to Rome. She will begin by providing special reports on Filipinos in Vatican City, featuring their personal experiences with the Pope. Then she will give live updates from the moment Pope Francis leaves the Vatican, to being onboard with him, to his arrival on Philippine soil, throughout his on-ground visits and even on his trip back to Rome.

To understand further what his visit means to the daily lives of Filipinos, Pia will also interview representatives from Jesuit Communications and the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines.

CNN international anchor Christiane Amanpour will deliver live updates of this coverage on CNN International for 9TV, which is soon to be officially rebranded to CNN Philippines in the first quarter of the year.
