MANILA, Philippines - Raymart Santiago does not see a “second chance” between him and estranged wife Claudine Barretto.
During the launch of his upcoming GMA-7 drama series “Second Chances” on Tuesday, members of the press asked Raymart if he sees himself giving his marriage to Claudine a second chance.
“'Yun, wala nang second chance 'yun,” he said.
However, the actor also said being friends with Claudine is a possibility.
“Doon naman may pag-asa na magkaroon ng second chance,” Raymart asked when asked about being friends with Claudine. “Sa tamang oras, sa tamang panahon.”
The 41-year-old actor said “hindi naman din nawawala ang effort ko” when it comes to mending fences the actress. But, he added: “Maraming taong nagiisip para sa amin din. Maraming suggestions, maraming ganito na gumugulo.”

Raymart added, “Siguro hindi pa hinog ang lahat para ayusin. Pero darating yun.”
It seems like all’s not well with Raymart and Claudine right not, whose fall out with each other was well-documented since 2013, as the GMA-7 artist revealed he was not able to spend the holidays with his children.
“Gusto ko na maayos lahat ng mga gusot. 'Yun ang pinagdarasal ko - na makita ko ulit yung mga anak ko,” he said when asked what he is looking forward to this year.
Raymart added when asked about his children: “Hindi kumpleto yung buhay ko, syempre. Nakikita n’yo masaya rin ako, pero sa loob medyo malungkot ako... Hindi rin ako masaya.”
The actor is part of the daily drama series “Second Chances,” which also stars Jennylyn Mercado, Rafael Rosell and Camille Prats.
The show premieres on Monday, January 12 on GMA-7.
