Spiritual pilgrimage with Pope Francis on 9TV
MANILA, Philippines - On Jan. 15 to 19, Pope Francis (photo) will have an apostolic visit to the Philippines. The visit will be primarily focused on those affected by Supertyphoon Yolanda in Eastern Visayas in 2013. At the same time, his visit will bring hope and happiness to millions of Filipinos.
Pope Francis is cherished for his humility, passion for the poor and an adhering belief in building unity among people of various backgrounds and histories through interfaith dialogue.
As part of Pope Francis’ pre-arrival, 9TV has started conducting a 40-day spiritual pilgrimage. The spiritual journey, which started last Dec. 7, is a call for a two-minute daily prayer for 40 days before Pope Francis arrives. The prayer guide is led by Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle and other bishops.
The daily prayer airs until Jan. 15 at 7 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 noon, 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on 9TV.
