MANILA, Philippines - Stars came down in Taguig City to spark inspiration and enliven the potentials and promise of the franchise sector at the launch of the first Globe myBusiness Day held at The Globe Tower in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig recently.

In partnership with the Association of Filipino Franchisers, Inc. (AFFI), Globe myBusiness turned the venue into a city of franchising opportunities dubbed Globeville,’ a one-stop shop for business start-ups, built especially for Globe employees, with the stars and celebrities.

Adding star-power to the event were Bobby Yan, Aubrey Miles and Troy Montero, Marina Benipayo, Ricardo Cepeda, Regine Tolentino, Isabel Oli, Glaiza de Castro and The Philippine STAR columnist RJ Ledesma.

“Their presence simply enlightened and ignited the Filipino entrepreneurial spirit,” said SVP and head for Globe myBusiness Martha Sazon.

Yet what made the attendance of these celebs special was that they were able to share insights and tips about business to Globe employees.

“These stars and celebrities have successfully established their own business. And perhaps our Globe employees can get winning tips from them,” said Sazon.

Guests also attended and listened to informative business talks from experts who empower entrepreneur and micro small and medium enterprises.

During Globe myBusiness Day, the stars toured more than 20 local franchise exhibitors from the food, retail and service industries as employees posed for photos.

“All our campaigns to inspire entrepreneurship and success are not only an external drive, but are also what we practice within Globe as well. Through myBusiness Day, we give Globe employees the first-hand opportunity to become entrepreneurs and arm them with all information they need to get started with their dream businesses,” Sazon added.
