Most searched OPM song on Google

MANILA, Philippines - The Sam Concepcion-Tippy Dos Santos quest song Dati, penned by Thyro and Yumi, emerged as the most searched OPM song in the country. It was ranked No. 10 in the music category after artists like Magic, Taylor Swift, Idina Menzel, Lorde, John Legend, Katy Perry, One Republic, Jessie J, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Granda and Miley Cyrus.

This was reported in the tech giant’s online year-end report.

Although Dati was first released in early 2013, its presence in the list shows that the nostalgic tune about a fun childhood remained popular among netizens this year.

 Its music video has combined views of over 20 million, as of writing.

Dati was the grand prize winner in the 2013 Philippine Popular Music Festival.
