MANILA, Philippines - Rain or shine, CinemaJam 2014 proved to be unstoppable with a more spectacular line-up of local artists and visual treats for music and movie lovers of all ages.
Gracing this year’s program were MYX VJ Nikki Gil and MTV VJ KC Montero. From afternoon till sunset, the stage was set ablaze by today’s top OPM bands Imago, Itchyworms, Pedicab, Banda ni Kleggy, Autotelic, Group Hug, Cheats, Chocolate Factory, and Franco. As the venue echoed their electrifying sets, festival goers also got to try thrilling outdoor activities such as zipline, bungee, and wall climbing.
In line with the better sight, better life campaign, a free eyesight consultation was also offered in the Essilor Lounge, a special area manned by eye care experts. The booth also showcased the latest product innovations from Crizal Transitions, including the first and only photochromic lens in the iconic shade of green called Crizal Transitions Signature lenses.
Evening came and a magnificent fireworks display lit up the skies, transitioning to the much-awaited outdoor movie screening of Hollywood blockbusters Letters to Juliet and Now You See Me.
This was followed by Sam Concepcion’s stunning performance for the humanitarian organization World Vision, the official beneficiary of CinemaJam two years now. “I’m very grateful that Crizal Transitions has once again supported World Vision. To be able to perform for an organization that is close to my heart, in a huge event like this one, is really a one of a kind experience.”
CinemaJam 2014 ended with a midnight jam finale by Urbandub and Bamboo.
CinemaJam 2014 was presented by C-Interactive, Greenfield District Central Park, MYX, Cinema One, 99.5 Play FM, Police, Toby’s, Medicard Philippines, Grab Taxi and WhenInManila.com.
