MANILA, Philippines - Earthday Jam Foundation president Lou Bonnevie just recently returned home after performing for a select crowd at the Fil Am Cultural Center Oxon Hills, D.C. The pop-rock icon was invited to be a special guest in Earthborne, an event put together by the FilWW.com, an online resource for Filipinos worldwide, and Creative Minds Strategic Marketing which features a night of cultural exchange and music jam with the homegrown artists in the East Coast.
Lou was recognized as an eco-artist and ambassadress of environmentalism and was asked to share insights on her foundation and environmental projects to the artists, producers and various representatives of organizations all over the East Coast, some coming all the way from Philadelphia. Performers who joined included young hip-hop/rap artists Benjo King and Bien Quiroz with the special support of Jazz Diva Madz Johnson and her quartet. Also playing were favorite local bands Tutubi and Epic Bands with Midi G. doing the hosting chores. Incidentally, Lou is now in preparation for the 15th year celebration Earthday Jam to be held in April 2015. She then plans to do another US tour to forward her advocacy and campaign. All organizations and companies interested to support may e-mail her at earthdayjamfoundation@gmail.com or may check out the Facebook page: Earthday Jam Foundation.
