Vic Sotto on Aiza’s marriage to Liza: I support her all the way

MANILA, Philippines - Vic Sotto supports Aiza Seguerra’s marriage girlfriend Liza Dino in the United States.

Liza and Aiza--who Vic considers as one of his “children” in show business after working together in various TV shows and movies over the years--tied the knot in California last week.

“I support her all the way. Ako naman, personally, kung saan masaya ang aking mga kaibigan, ang aking mga anak doon ako,” the veteran TV host-comedian told Philstar.com and other entertainment reporters during the press conference of “My Big Bossing” on Wednesday.

The “Eat Bulaga” main host is aware Aiza and Liza’s wedding has its share of naysayers. Vic said on the bashers: “Siguro, hindi naiintindihan ng ibang tao. Pero opinyon nila yun.”

He added: “I respect their opinion and I expect them to respect my opinion also.”

Vic further said he will serve as a godfather when Aiza holds a ceremony to celebrate their union in the Philippines. “Anak ko yun e,” he quipped.

The comedian said he saw firsthand how Aiza and Liza love each other when they did the 2013 movie “My Little Bossings.”

“Nakikita ko naman sila (Aiza and Liza) e, nung ginagawa namin yung ‘My Little Bossing.’ Nakita ko kung gaano sila nagmamahalan, kung gaano sila kasaya, how they take care of each other,” he added.

“My Big Bossing,” which stars Ryzza Mae Dizon, Marian Rivera and Pauleen Luna, is part of the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival. It opens in theaters on December 25.
