MANILA, Philippines - After their same sex marriage, Aiza Seguerra and Liza Diño now want to have a baby.
“We had a checkup [sa U.S.] and they explained the whole process. It would take... kailangan nando'n kami kasi pabalik-balik kami dapat, e,” said Liza in an interview in “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Tuesday.
Artificial insemination or simply insemination is the process where sperm will be implanted into the uterus of a woman for her to conceive a baby.
For now, the couple is busy arranging their ceremonial wedding in Manila.
“We're not gonna get married here, we're already married. So what were gonna do here is a ceremony,” clarified Aiza. “'Yong mga parents namin, all of our friends andito sila, e. We want to share this special moment with them also.”
Liza added that they respect the fact that same sex marriage is not yet accepted in the country.
The couple, meanwhile, shared their thoughts on their marriage's bashers.
“Actually wala akong balak na patulan sila,” Liza started. “Hindi kami nagsasalita but we are aware, we are aware of what is being said, and siguro ang sa amin lang it's the hope, the understanding and the empathy for this kind of situation, with our relationship.”
Aiza said that she is already used to getting negative comments. She said she respects what their bashers are saying against t hem.
“One day makahanap din sila ng saya na nararamdaman namin. One day makahanap din sila ng pagmamahal na naibibigay namin sa isa't isa. Kasi honestly kapag naramdaman nila 'yon, I think they won't say anything,” she said.
