Another award for Liza Diño

Celso de Guzman Caparas - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A few weeks after she won Best Actress (for In Nomine Matris) at the Fourth International Film Festival Manhattan (her second win in the same festival), Liza Diño was named Best Actress (for the same film) at the Equality International Film Festival (EIFF) held in Oakland, California, on Dec. 14.

The newly-married Liza (now legally Mrs. Aiza Seguerra since Dec. 8 when they got married in California) was not present to receive her award but Will Fredo (right, in photo with EIFF founder/executive director Waynee Leonard), who directed the film, was there to receive Liza’s award and another one for 2014 Equality Film Festival Pacific Island/American Best Feature Film.
