PPL Entertainment is one big happy family

MANILA, Philippines - Trust Perry P. Lansigan (back row, fourth from left) to smoothly run a fast-growing stable of stars like a closely-knit under a company named after him — PPL Entertainment.

One of the very few self-effacing talent managers (read: he doesn’t throw his weight around) and easy to deal with (read: he doesn’t intimidate/threaten producers into submission), Perry doesn’t play favorites, treating his talents as equals even if some of them are admittedly bigger than the others.

Two weeks ago, PPL Entertainment hosted its annual Christmas party for the movie press, complete with the usual raffle and parlor games (Pinoy Henyo, etc.). Except for Janno Gibbs (so what else is new?), PPL stars were all accounted for (back row, from left): Dingdong Dantes, Carl Guevarra, Arthur Solinap, Gloc-9 (new member), Carlo Gonzalez, Gabby Eigenmann, Geoff Eigenmann and Wendell Ramos; and (front row, from left) Angelika dela Cruz, Jaclyn Jose (new member), Jolina Magdangal, Max Collins, Rochelle Pangilinan and LJ Reyes.
