MANILA, Philippines - True to its credo of Serbisyong Totoo, GMA Kapuso Foundation (GMAKF) prepared for its disaster-relief operations even before Typhoon Ruby hit land last Saturday.
Repacking already began in the GMAKF warehouse in Manila, GMA Cebu, Calbayog City in Samar and the Kapuso Village in Tacloban.
With this, the foundation continues to accept donations in the form of rice, canned goods, noodles, milk, coffee, sugar, toothbrush, toothpaste, bath soap, detergent; and new sleeping mats, blankets, towels and slippers.
Donations may be dropped off at GMA Kapuso Foundation Office, GMA Network Drive cor. Samar St., Diliman Quezon City (with tel. nos. 928-7013/ 928-9351) or at GMA Kapuso warehouse, 366 GMA Compound, Tandang Sora Ave., Barangay Culiat, Quezon City, from Mondays to Fridays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Aside from material donations, cash donations may also be deposited to peso and dollar savings accounts of Kapuso Foundation in all branches of Metrobank, UCPB, PNB and Cebuana Lhuillier.
