NUVALI Sky Fright Night Cinema

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Last Oct. 25, Sky Cable and NUVALI brought three horror movies back to the big screen to collect higher decibels of screams with Night Sky Cinema Presents: Fright Night at The Fields, NUVALI in Laguna to celebrate the Halloween. Apart from the main outdoor-screening event, several activities such as games, food fair and roving Halloween characters were also tied in with a Carnage Carnival theme.

Movie screening started at 5 p.m. with Zombieland, followed by Sixth Sense and The Conjuring. Order of film showing follows scary to scariest as the night capped off with The Conjuring, which Motion Picture Association of America categorized as Rated R for having sequences of disturbing violence and terror according to IMDb.com.

Keeping the scary vibe and feel, there were game intervals like the Zombie Hunters where you get to chase after zombies for a change, take photos with them around the area or at the Photo Haunt wall and even solve the Zombie Mystery to win prizes.

The event was hosted by Karen ‘DJ Dylan’ Vizcarra-Virey of rock-alternative radio station NU 107.5.
