Roses, kisses for senior citizens from Daniel
MANILA, Philippines - Daniel Matsunaga (right photo) offered the Golden Jubilarians long-stemmed roses when he appeared as guest performing artist at the recent Immaculate Conception Academy’s alumni homecoming.
The serenade was the highlight of the evening’s memorable program, which saw the tall and dashing actor plant kisses on a few of the surprised honorees in long gowns, including Pho Hoa restaurateur Nancy Cua, Miriam College dean Lourdes Samson, CEO of Philscan Travel and Tours Sylvia Sangco and journalist Nancy T. Lu (above, right).
The heartthrob’s moves thrilled the audience during the Chica Na! event at the ICA campus in Little Baguio, San Juan City. A crowd-pleaser, Daniel at one point went down on his knees before a shocked alumna. As he suavely ‘romanced’ the 18 alumni one by one with a song, the younger alumni gushed and screamed with delight. Fans also rushed onstage to mob the ever-smiling Daniel.
