Celebs at NYC Inuman at Pulutan 2014

MANILA, Philippines - Right (from left): Fil-Am leader Loida Nicolas-Lewis, Ugly Kitchen’s chef Aris Tuazon and Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez were among the guests at the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce’s third Inuman at Pulutan event at the Altman Building in New York City last Nov. 20. Others included Funfare’s ‘beauty expert’ Felix Manuel (below) with Melissa Alviar and Stephanie Retuya (Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 1 runner-up). The winning pulutan was Lumpia Shack’s Batangas Bulalo Soup Dumpling (upper right), followed by Spotted Pig’s Pork Tocino Pandan Bum (second) and Annisa’s Pancit Palabok (third).

The Philippine Consulate General in NYC headed by Hon. Mario Lopez de Leon supported the Inuman at Pulutan event which was launched in 2012 which is anticipated by foodies not only in NYC but in neighboring cities.       — Felix Manuel
