MANILA, Philippines - Bret Jackson believes that there won't be awkwardness between him and Andi Eigenmann when they work on the Viva film “Your Place or Mine.”
It was Bret's best friend, James Reid, who confirmed that he stopped courting Andi.
He admitted that he was hurt over their short-lived romance, yet he's happy to remain friends with Andi despite everything.
“I guess it comes with maturity, na there are some things that don't go the way you planned,” Bret said in an interview on Tuesday. “Other things happen. Andi and I are still friends and really close, we don't know what's gonna happen in the future. There's no bad blood at all.”
Now that they'll be starring in a film together, Bret said he looks forward to learn new things from Andi, acting-wise. He added that he hopes that they get to be closer and get to know each other more.
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old actor is happy that opportunities came this year for him and his best friend James.
James's career was given a boost after starring with Nadine Lustre for the films “Diary ng Panget” and “Talk Back and You're Dead.”
Bret was part of James' second film, as a member of the 'Lucky 13.' Now he's very thankful for the big break that Viva has given him.
“Things are happening!” he said. “Actually two years ago wala kaming projects. I was with TV5 doing a thing for them. Tapos out of nowhere nagka-break kami, so it's really a good feeling especially for my best friend and for me.”
