Sarah Geronimo, Kim Chiu are Disney's newest Princesses

MANILA, Philippines - Sarah Geronimo and Kim Chiu have been tapped by Disney to sing and portray two of its Princesses.

Sarah, in a commercial aired on Disney Channel, announced that she'll be singing her version of “The Glow,” which is a song from the movie “Tangled,” for their “Princess” franchise.

The song was originally performed by Shannon Saunders.

Meanwhile, Kim was selected by Disney to portray “Mulan,” for a project that it has not fully divulged yet.

Talks on the project started after a photo of Kim in Mulan costume came out. The actress later confirmed that she'll be playing the role for a Disney project.

There are reports that Kim's Mula portrayal would be for Disney's 2015 calendar.
