Kris Tiffany Janson to fly to London for Miss Intercontinental

MANILA, Philippines- Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental Kris Tiffany Janson is ready to fly to Germany this Saturday for the Miss Intercontinental beauty pageant.

Kris, the first representative of the Philippines to the pageant, said during her send off party on Wednesday that she is "honored that I was entrusted with this opportunity."

Kris said that despite being nervous, she feels confident in representing the country because she received the best training from the best.

She underwent rigorous training with former beauty queens Shamcey Supsup, Venus Raj, Bea Rose Santiago, and Johanna Datul.

Kris said the four beauty queens taught her to "know yourself and carry yourself well, believe in yourself and your capability to be a winner."

The pageant will be held at the Maritim Hotel and Congress in Magdeburg, Germany on December 5.

"God will bless me with the crown," Kris said, saying that she is confident that her with will come true because December is her birthday month.

“Miss Intercontinental is about women empowerment, youth empowerment also. I think they're looking for a woman who can speak out for the other women out there. I believe that I could be Miss Intercontinental because I have a really strong character [and] I fight for what I believe in,” she said when asked why she deserves the crown.
