Gutierrezes take backseat to new member

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Gutierrez siblings Ruffa, Raymond and Richard take a backseat to their brother Elvis this week when he welcomes his first child with long-term girlfriend Alexa.

Parenthood in the Gutierrez family takes centerstage as they welcome a new addition to their family — baby girl Aria. Everyone from Annabelle to Eddie reflects on the special moment with Sarah Lahbati and Ruffa talking about jumping on the baby bandwagon. Sarah confesses she would quite readily have another brother for Zion or even twins, while Ruffa contemplates whether she would have the energy for a baby now that her girls are tweens.

But the focus is on the lesser-known sibling Elvis who opens up over the episode. Being known for being part of a famous celebrity family is a challenge; Elvis and Alexa are quite frankly normal people, in a relationship who have regular jobs and who the audience can relate to as their own friends or family members. Unlike glamorous Sarah and Ruffa who are constantly in demand at social events, Alexa is desperate to just be a good mother and partner for Elvis. She is the salt of the earth and watching the  intimate family moment will bring tears to your eyes.

Watch the heartwarming episode unfold tonight at 9.

Meanwhile, Aria will be baptized this afternoon in a grand setting which will be covered by E! and aired in a future episode.

(E! Channel airs on Ch. 57 for SkyCable and Destiny Digital, Ch. 25 for Cignal and Ch. 33 on Cable Link.)
