Alex Gonzaga 'flattered' over Arjo Atayde's admiration

MANILA, Philippines- Alex Gonzaga is “flattered” that “Pure Love” co-star Arjo Atayde admires her.

During the farewell press conference for the show, Arjo was asked if his admiration with Alex was gone since they're now good friends.

“Hindi naman po nawala 'yon,” was the young actor's response.

So during the one-on-one interview, Alex was asked to comment about what Arjo said.

“I'm always flattered kay Arjo kasi he's very nice talaga.Pero napansin ko kasi sa lahat ng tao, same lang kasi ang trato niya,” she said.

“So, Arjo as a person, he's really genuine and he's really sweet, gugustuhin mo talaga siyang maging kaibigan. Pero siyempre, kung sasabihin 'yon, we'll always be flattered.”

The Kapamilya actress-host doesn't want to assume as well that her leading man was courting her.

“Ewan ko, kasi parang pinapakita niya hindi ko alam kung may meaning kasi nga mabait talaga siyang tao, mabuti siyang tao,” she explained. “Kasi mamaya hindi naman pala niya talaga ako nililigawan, mag-feeling naman pala ako. Hayaan na muna natin.”

Meanwhile, Alex has mixed emotions about the end of their early-primetime drama series “Pure Love.”

She's thankful for the show's good ratings, which was due to the people's continuous support.

“Ako, personally, si Diane, natutuwa ako sa character niya, na-love ko na. Ang hirap niyang iwanan,” she said about her character. “Siguro this character na ginawa ko, is the only character that I portrayed that I really connected. Whenever I'm portraying the character, I feel like I'm really the character.”

Now that the show will end on November 14, the viewers will find out what will happen with Diane as she gets the final teardrop she needs to live again.
