IN PHOTOS: The stars of Cinema One Originals 2014

MANILA, Philippines – Angelica Panganiban, Jericho Rosales, Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino are some of the stars who will lead this year's edition of Cinema One Originals, the annual independent film festival organized by local cable channel Cinema One.

The film festival will run from November 9 to 18 at the Fairview Terraces, Glorietta, Trinoma, and Greenhills Dolby Atmos theaters.

The 10 films that are part of the 2014 Cinema One Originals are “Soap Opera” by Remton Zuasola, starring Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino; “Bitukang Manok” by Alec Figuracion, starring Ken Anderson (the brother of Gerald Anderson) and Guji Lorenzana; “Seoul Mates” by Nash Ang, staring Mimi Juareza; “Esprit de Corps” by Kanakan Balintagos (formerly known as Aureaus Solito); and “Lorna” by Sidrig Andrea Bernardo, starring Shamaine Buencamino, Felix Roco and Alex Medina.

“Violator” by Eduardo Dayao, starring Joel Lamangan and Victor Neri; “Red” by Jay Abello, starring Jericho Rosales; “The Babysitters” by Paolo O'Hara, starring Jason Gainza and Katya Santos; “Di Sila Tatanda” by Malay Javier; and “That Thing Called Tadhana” by Antoinette Jadaone, starring JM De Guzman and Angelica Panganiban complete the list.

Other classic films and contemporary Asian cinema greats will be screened during the festival, including Mike De Leon's “Hindi Nahahati ang Langit,” Chinese film “Black Coal, Thin Ice,” and the South Korean film “Haemoo (Sea Fog).”
