Today’s loveteams

Teen stars Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano team up for the first time in the newest ABS-CBN primetime series Forevermore. This is their first time to work together on TV after co-starring last year in the hit movie She’s the One starring Bea Alonzo and Dingdong Dantes.

Enrique and Liza do make a lovely couple on the small screen. Their loveteam Lizquen is an addition to local showbiz’s most kilig loveteams like KimXi, KathNiel and JaDine.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and Theodore Boborol, Forevermore revolves around the story of a reckless and adamant teenager Xander (Enrique) who is averse to taking responsibilities until he met a simple strawberry farm girl Agnes (Liza) in a paragliding incident. Agnes will eventually teach Xander how to change his views toward life and love.

The series takes the new loveteam to the cool and picturesque destinations of Baguio and Benguet. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the youngsters bonded on the set with the other members of the cast and production crew. Does this mean that Enrique and Liza have become closer to each other? Enrique shared during an interview that the young actress is now more open to him about her life.

Will their closeness blossom into romance? Well, they look good together!
 

Jolina & Marvin

Talking about loveteams, Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin are back as Kapamilya and will soon reunite in the upcoming drama series Flordeliza which will be directed by Wenn Deramas.

Jolina, who was last seen in ABS-CBN 12 years ago, has started taping for the series. She was welcomed by ABS-CBN Business Unit head Linggit Tan and direk Wenn on her first shooting day.

One of the most popular loveteams in the ’90s, Jolina and Marvin headlined several TV and movie projects including Flames The Movie: Tameme, Labs Kita... Okey Ka Lang, Gimik: The Reunion, Hey Babe and Kung Ikaw Ay Isang Panaginip.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Jolina hinted about her character in the new series. “Lahat nung mga di ko nagagawa dati, parang ipagagawa sa akin ni direk dito, eh. First time ko talaga siya gagawin. Hinanda ko talaga sarili ko. Nakailang beses ako ng basa ng script!”

However, direk Wenn assured the fans that there will still be light moments between the two stars like what they used to do in the past.
 

Angelica & John Lloyd

A real couple on and off screen, Angelica Panganiban and John Lloyd Cruz have been together for three years now.

“Walang moments na nakakapagod. Actually, nakakatakot nga na three years na kami, hindi pa rin kami nag-aaway ng malala,” she declared during her guesting in Aquino and Abunda Tonight. Angelica added that she is not being  defensive when she posts their happy photos as she only wants to share their happiness to the public that has been extremely supportive of them.

What’s her secret to make a relationship work? Angelica stressed, “May respeto ako sa sarili ko, sa partner ko, sa mga taong mahal niya at ganun din siya sa akin.”

Both successful in love and career, Angelica stars in the comedy film Beauty in a Bottle while Lloydy topbills The Trial together with Gretchen Barretto and Richard Gomez.
