Curtain-raiser:
• A post-Halloween message from Regal Matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde: Someday, we’ll forget the hurt, the reason we cried and who caused us pain. We will finally realize that the secret of being free is not revenge but letting things unfold in their own way and own time. After all, what matters is not the first but the last chapter of our life which shows how well we ran the race. So, smile, laugh, forgive, believe and love all over again.

Will 2014 Miss World-Philippines Valerie “Val” Weigmann repeat the record of 2013 Miss World Megan Young and duplicate the records of Sweden (1951-52) and India (1999-2000) and bag for the country our first back-to-back win in the 2014 Miss World pageant set for Dec. 14 (Dec. 15 Manila Time) in London?
Psychic George Sison is positive that Val will win like he predicted last year before Megan flew to Bali, Indonesia, and bagged the country’s first Miss World crown. George and Cory Quirino (Miss World-Philippines national director) are long-time friends. Cory asked George to talk to Megan on the phone on the eve of Megan’s departure for Bali.
Cory knows about George’s work about building up people’s consciousness to achieve their life’s desires including winning in competitions by sharing spiritual and mental laws, and encouraging people to behave and act in ways that resonate with their desires (or dreams and goals). He did it with Rene Novalles who won the grand prize (amateur division) of the 1984 Metropop with his entry A Smile in Your Heart (composed by George and interpreted by Jam Morales) and with Juan Rodrigo who won Best Supporting Actor in the 1983 FAMAS Awards.
According to George, there are seven cycles in his astrological-biorhythmic system, with each cycle lasting for 52 days.
In his article about George for The STAR last year, Danny Vibas wrote that George did not reveal to Megan that she was on her winning cycle but instead stressed the need for her to remain confident, positive, well-meaning and energetic. George gave Megan a mantra, reminding her not to reveal it to anybody — “I am Miss World 2013.”
Here’s what George has to say:
When I first saw Valerie Weigmann online together with 25 other candidates, she truly looked like a winner! I then asked franchise holder of Miss World Philippines Cory Quirino to send me the birthdays of five of my favorites which were contestant numbers 1, 7, 14, 19 and 20. She immediately complied and I proceeded to compute their life’s cycles for both Oct. 12 and Dec. 15.
My focus was for Dec. 15 when Miss World 2014 would be proclaimed in London. On my cycle radar, it appeared that Valerie and Nelia Ibe would be our best bets for a back-to-back Miss World title for the Philippines.
The judges saw it my way except for candidate No. 1 Lorraine Kendrickson who was on her first cycle on Oct, 12 and therefore, bagged for her the first princess title. Unfortunately, Nelia Ibe was on her fourth cycle, a period when one is physically not at one’s best. According to Valerie, Nelia was, indeed, physically unwell during the competition.
On Nov. 22, Valerie’s birthday, she enters her first cycle for the duration of 52 days meaning that by Dec. 15, she would be at an advantage unless other finalists are on their first or fifth cycles (the fifth cycle is the cycle of success) which is as powerful as the first cycle. If this happens, the Q&A portion would determine the winner.
I suggest that we all visualize Megan Young passing on the Miss World crown to Valerie Weigmann on Dec. 15.
