Vice Ganda’s health condition slightly improves

Joyce Jimenez - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Vice Ganda assured his worried fans that his health condition is already improving.

“Medyo umayos na yung hitsura ng larynx ko, nung throat ko,” Vice said in an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal. “Maaliwalas na, hindi na siya punung-puno ng mucus. Pero nandoon pa rin yung polyps, e. Inaalam nila kung cyst siya o polyps.”

Vice Ganda announced during an airing of “It’s Showtime” that he might leave the show for a while because of the problem in his throat.

The comedian said that he had been told to have his throat problem checked further and undergo an operation, but declined because of his commitments in showbiz, including the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Praybeyt Benjamin 2.”

Vice Ganda said that he will only be forced to undergo an operation if his two-week medication fails to improve his condition.

Meanwhile, the comedian said that he is very thankful that he knew of the throat problem in its early state.

“Kung wala nga lang din akong masyadong maraming ginagawang trabaho, kung wala akong pelikula, tatapusin ko na ‘to lahat, e. Kaya lang, kailangan kong matapos ang Praybeyt Benjamin for the filmfest,” he said.

He said that he will return to the noontime show as soon as he is at his 100 percent.

Meanwhile, Vice Ganda was at Coco Martin’s birthday celebration on Wednesday.

Vice Ganda told Coco during the celebration that he deserves everything that he has and where he is right now.

"Deserved na deserved niya kasi mabuting tao ‘yang si Coco. Nakita ko kung anong klaseng tao siya bago pa siya pumasok sa showbiz," he said.
