Bea Alonzo on engagement with Zanjoe Marudo: We'll let you know

MANILA, Philippines - Bea Alonzo promised that the public will immediately know if she and her boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo are already engaged.

“Malalaman n'yo naman 'yon,” Bea replied, smiling, when asked on Thursday if she feels Zanjoe will propose to her this year.

The question is frequently asked from the celebrity as several couples got engaged this year.

Meanwhile, Bea brushed off the negative comments on her three-year relationship with Zanjoe.

“I guess gano'n naman, when you're together they want you to breakup, pero kapag hindi kayong dalawa they want you to be together. So I guess that's human nature,” she said.

Bea talked to the media during the opening of the Robinson's Selections at the Bonifacio Global City, which she attended for a brand she is endorsing.

During the event, the actress was told by the media that she looked fresher.

“Bakit, pangit ba ako dati?” she jokingly said.

“Masaya kasi mas nakapahinga,” she concluded, referring to her recently concluded teleserye “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon.”

“So ito muna ginagawa ko ngayon, para sa endorsements, mga obligasyon ko for them.”

Aside from that, she's also busy preparing for her upcoming film with Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta under Star Cinema.

"May movie ako with Richard and Dawn Zulueta, mag-start kami ng first week ng November. Pero magte-train na kami sa emotional for the role. But I can't say yet kung anong role ko," she said.
