All-day dining at Millie’s

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Craving for some authentic Filipino comfort food with a dash of international cuisine? Prepare your palate for a wide array of mouth-watering dishes in big servings as Millie’s All-day dining opens its third restaurant at Microtel by Wyndham UP Technohub in Quezon City.

Located at the ground floor of Microtel at UP-Ayala Land Technohub in Quezon City, the branch of Millie’s restaurant is the latest of only three in the Philippines. The two other branches, located at Microtel Batangas and Microtel Mall of Asia, share the same menu and exciting offers that thousands of guests have experienced throughout the years.

Millie’s All-day dining at Microtel UP Technohub presents diners in the Q.C. area a refreshing dining experience that will delight families and friends. The food comes in generous portions and is priced just right for value-conscious food lovers.

Straight from the expert hands of food and beverage director Enzo Ciliani, executive chef Gino Santayana and chef Joel Bautista  — who is in charge of the kitchen at Microtel UP Technohub,  Millie’s line-up will have something for everyone. Try out a delectable serving of Chicken Parmigiana, Pan-Seared Salmon, Grilled Blue Marlin or a dish of authentic Hainanese Chicken Rice.

Millie’s (see sketch) makes its own pastas and uses all-imported ingredients, cooked as ordered, to achieve its great flavor. Try a forkful of the famous Seafood Marinara, and other pasta offers, and you’ll know you’re getting the best, freshly-made pasta anywhere.

Filipino food is represented in all its glory at Millie’s with servings of Bistek Tagalog, Kare-Kare, Nilaga, Pancit Canton, Bihon, Palabok, and much more. Steaks are also a must-try as the restaurant serves authentic local Wagyu Beef, valued for its  tenderness, sourced from farms in Bukidnon.

However, Millie’s best-seller is the Baby Back Ribs. The meat is so tender it falls right off the bone. Liberally coated with a delicious secret marinade and served with either rice, coleslaw or mashed potatoes, the Baby Back Ribs are an absolute must-try for every Millie’s first-timer.

Open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. to hotel guests and outsiders, Millie’s All-day dining at Microtel UP Technohub offers a satisfying menu for a broad range of tastes. Whether you’re a foodie, casual diner, or simply one who wants to have a good time with family or friends, you’ll find yourself coming back for more to sample everything the restaurant has to offer.

Millie’s at Microtel UP Technohub is open for banquets up to 200 people at the hotel’s function room. For smaller groups, additional meeting rooms at the hotel can serve anywhere from 20 to 30 people.
