Heart Evangelista's parents to miss her wedding

MANILA, Philippines- Heart Evangelista's parents will not attend her wedding with Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero.

On Monday's episode of “Basta Everyday, Happy,” Heart confirmed that “as of now hindi pa rin sila a-attend ng kasal. Pero the good news, pinayagan nila lahat ng kapatid ko to go, kasi dati hindi.”

“Although binigay nila 'yong blessing na magpakasal, hindi raw talaga nila kayang makita akong magpakasal,” she explained. “So magkikita na lang kami pagbalik ko ng Manila. Pero sa kasal [hindi]. Okay lang rin siguro kung nahihirapan sila, ako lang din siguro kakaaintindi no'n. Okay lang din sa akin.”

Meanwhile, the Kapuso actress-host also said that the issue with their wedding's venue has been settled.

It could be recalled that TV host Cesca Litton claimed that her wedding in Balesin Island Club was bumped off to give way to the Heart-Chiz wedding on February 15.

“Oo nagkaro'n ng konting problema but naayos naman,” she said.

She then explained again their side in the issue.

“Problema sa kabilang party kasi parang no'ng time na 'yon nagkaro'n kami ng issue, bump-off or something, but hindi pa kami nagre-reserve ng date sa Balesin. But since we're very close to the owner, he offered us to get married there even before we got engaged.

“So nag-inquire kami and they automatically thought that inagaw namin 'yong date. But hindi naman talaga, 14 or 15 ang pinagpipilian, e. Tsaka five hundred hectares naman 'yong laki ng island, so puwede talagang dalawa 'yong wedding,” she said.

On the other hand, Heart mentioned some details about her wedding.

She named some of her friends who will be part of her bride's maids like Alessandra de Rossi, Solenn Heussaff, Lovi Poe, Carla Abellana and Jennylyn Mercado. Mark Bautista will be singing her bridal processional song.

Yet despite all the wedding preparations and bliss that Heart is feeling at the moment, what she really looks forward to “the consistency of a life" as well.

"I look forward to that," she said.
