South Border, Freestyle, Side A & Bamboo at 3rd Pyrofest

MANILA, Philippines - All roads lead to SM City Clark Pampanga on Oct. 11, 18 and 25 when people from Central Luzon troop to the third Pyrofest competition, featuring delegates from nine provinces vying for top prizes, exhibitions from three countries, and performances by some of the country’s top bands.

Events kick off at the Meeting Place on Oct. 11, 7 p.m., to be followed by the second- and a third-in-a-series of pyrotechnic competitions on Oct. 18 and 25 in the same venue.

Participants who will light up the sky with fireworks, lights and sounds come from Palawan, Ilocos, Batangas, Laguna, Bulacan, Cebu, Tacloban, Cotabato and Oroquieta. Up for grabs are over half a million worth of prizes.

Australia Team Explosive Art, Canada’s Boom Boom Pow and China Hengda Fireworks Ltd. will outdo one another in exhibitions of the latest, state-of-the-art pyrotechnics. Performing at 8:30 p.m. right after the pyro competition are South Border and Freestyle on Oct. 11; Side A, Oct. 18; and Bamboo, Oct. 25. Keik Necessario will do the front act for all the bands.

The competition promises to be a bigger, better pyrofest with breathtaking and dazzling displays of fireworks mastery that will illuminate and make the skies come alive though the latest techniques and innovations in pyrotechnic entertainment by professional and award-winning pyro technique artists.

The series of pyro events is presented by SM Clark, Leegendary Fireworks — Feel the firepower, The Philippine Star, PDI, Sky Autumn Events and Management Services, and Retro 105.9 DCG FM.
