Marian holds Fans’ Day, auction for a cause

MANILA, Philippines - Marian Rivera (photo) holds her first Kapuso Fans’ Day in Pampanga at SM City Clark tonight at 6. Pampanga is Marian’s 11th stop after doing shows in eight cities and two towns, namely Naga City, Baguio City, Dagupan City, Cebu City and Consolacion, Roxas City, Bacolod City, Davao City, General Santos City and Daraga in Albay.

Marian, who serves as ambassadress of the Kapuso Adopt-a-Bangka Project, will also be giving her fans a chance to own some of her pre-loved clothes in an auction to be held at the Lewis Grand Hotel.

The auction comes on the heels of a successful exhibit in Cebu last month wherein 30 of the most memorable dresses of the newly-engaged actress (who recently held her first bridal shower in Hong Kong Disneyland) were sold out. Proceeds will be for the rehabilitation of the local communities in Bantayan Island.

Gracing the activity are GMA Regional TV AVP and head for Integrated Marketing Services Division Oliver Amoroso, GMA TV Central and Eastern Visayas station manager Ann Marie Tan and president of the Bantayan Island Association of Hotels, Resorts, Bars and Restaurants, Inc. Allan Monreal.
