Hustisya competes at Warsaw Int’l Filmfest

MANILA, Philippines - Hustisya, directed by Joel Lamangan (photo), is among the 15 entries at the 30th Warsaw International Film Festival. Major awards at stake are for Warsaw Grand Prix, Best Diretor and Special Jury Award.

Hustisya (Justice) is about Biring, a woman (played by Nora Aunor) who works for a human-trafficking syndicate in a city where one can either be a victim or a victimizer. Biring will have to choose.

Competing films are from Spain, Venezuela, China, Canada, Ukraine, Poland, Estonia, Bulgaria, India, Russia, Iran, Croatia, Singapore and France.
