Bet ng Bayan regional finals in Naga City
MANILA, Philippines - As devotees from various parts of the country flock to Naga City for the annual Peñafrancia Festival, GMA celebrates with them the Marian occasion by mounting the first Bet ng Bayan regional finals tomorrow, Sept. 21.
Bets from the South Luzon area face each other off in the said regional finals happening at Plaza Quezon starting at 6 p.m. Gracing the event, which doubles as a Kapuso Fiesta, are Bet ng Bayan hosts Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and Alden Richards.
On the same day, auditions for the come-backing reality-based artista search on TV StarStruck take place at SM City Naga’s The Event Center 10 a.m. onwards where StarStruck survivor Ryza Cenon makes an appearance. The auditions run until the next day, Sept. 22, following the same schedule.
Meanwhile, a special live coverage of the Peñafrancia fluvial procession titled An Pag-Debosyon kan Masa airs on Sept. 20, 2:30 p.m. after Eat, Bulaga! via GMA TV Bicol.
Highlights of the network’s participation in this year’s Peñafrancia Festival can be seen via Let’s Fiesta! on Sept. 28 airing in all nine GMA regional stations in Ilocos, Bicol, Dagupan, Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod, Davao, GenSan and Cagayan de Oro.
