Miss Quezon City Diamond Jubilee crowned

MANILA, Philippines - Shecill Bagaporo of Roxas District was crowned Miss Quezon City Diamond Jubilee in a glittering ceremony last Sept. 13 at the AFP Theater in Camp Aguinaldo. Named runners-up were Roanna Rae Adie Jose of La Vista (first or Miss Business Friendly), Renee Soraya Hassani of Cubao (second or Miss Environmental Protection) and Patrixia Shirley Santos of Sikatuna Village (third or Miss Social Services). They bested 21 other contestants.

Shecill also won Best in Long Gown. Adjudged Miss Photogenic was Gilma Gallero of Old Balara who was one of the Top 12 semi-finalists. Fiona Margarita Aytona of Tandang Sora was voted Miss Social Media.

The board of judges included former Vice-Mayor and the very first Miss Quezon City winner in 1977 Connie Angeles, beauty queens Marina Benipayo and Gem Padilla, 2014 Mr. World Philippines John Spainhour and ace photographer Raymond Isaac. 2012 Miss Earth Air Stephany Stefanowitz, also a Miss Quezon City titlist, hosted the event with KC Montero.
