Erika Jayne readies new single

MANILA, Philippines - US music artist Erika Jayne (photo) is set to release her brand-new single You Make Me Wanna Dance this October along with the music video that she shot in Asia a few months ago. The single will be available for purchase online.

Erika’s management company, Sanre Entertainment, also announced the kick-off of You Make Me Wanna Dance Asian Promo Tour scheduled early December. Sanre Entertainment in partnership with Primeline Management stated that the promo tour’s first leg will commence in Korea, Japan, Singapore and the Philippines.

Rene Walter, Sanre Entertainment’s CEO, said the second leg of Erika Jayne’s Asian tour will take place in February, 2015 in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and China coinciding with the celebration of Chinese New Year.

Erika Jayne has to her credit six No. 1 dance songs on the U.S. Billboard Club/Dance Chart. 

It will be remembered that the American dance music artist was recently in Asia, specifically the Philippines where she filmed segments of the music video for her new song. She handpicked the Philippines for the music video as the launch pad of her Asian debut.

Erika Jayne is an American dance/club music performer born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where she attended North Atlanta High School for the Performing Arts. Currently based in Los Angeles, she arrived on the club music scene in 2007 with the electro-hued track Rollercoaster, which went to No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.

In 2008, her follow-up single Stars reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay chart. Both tracks appeared on her debut album Pretty Mess, released in August 2009.

Erika released Party People (Ignite the World) in 2011 and went on to reach No. 1 on the dance/club chart in 2012 becoming her sixth consecutive No. 1 hit. Her latest single Get it Tonight has garnered over three million views on YouTube.

Her music has been featured in such films as The Watch starring Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill, The Neighbor, Deal and the reality show Toddlers and Tiaras.
