GMA Marketing and Productions, Inc. wins gold at Spark Awards
MANILA, Philippines - GMA Marketing and Productions, Inc. (GMPI), the sales and marketing arm of GMA Network, Inc., received multiple Gold Awards at the Spark Awards for Media Excellence 2014 recently held at the Westin Hotel in Singapore.
Organized by Marketing Magazine, the Spark Awards celebrates the best practices in media solutions, products and services. It is the premier platform for media owners in the Southeast Asian region to showcase their innovation, effectiveness and value proposition to advertisers, agencies and clients.
GMPI bagged a total of seven awards that night, including three Golds and a Silver.
Winning two Golds and a Silver award for Best App, Best Use of Branded Content and Best Media Solution — Integrated Media, respectively, was Del Monte Kitchenomics for the groundbreaking program integration with a mobile app. The same team also won Best in Brand Marketing for Integrated Campaign in the recently-concluded Philippine Association of National Advertisers Truth in Advertising Awards.
GMPI won another Gold for Best Media Solution —TV/Online for the annual value-driven GMA Christmas Short Films campaign. Last 2013, GMPI with its partner advertisers went beyond telling socially-relevant stories by donating to Typhoon Yolanda victims. It helped mobilize relief efforts from various institutions and individuals.
The GMPI produced music video of Asim Kilig for Knorr Sinigang, which stepped out of the usual cooking demo with a two-minute material showcasing catchy dance moves, also received a Bronze in Best Media Solution — TV/Online.
GMA’s longest running network promotion, Kapuso Milyonaryo, which has improved countless lives and produced over 50 millionaires, was bestowed a Bronze for Most Improved Offering.
For producing creative, efficient and results driven first-in-market campaign solutions, the GMPI team was also presented the Bronze for Best Creative Team. GMPI president and COO Lizelle Maralag said, “It’s an honor to be recognized among our fellow media practitioners in the region.”
