Heart Evangelista ignores controversies after engagement
MANILA, Philippines — Heart Evangelista doesn't dwell on issues involving her, fiancé Sen. Francis "Chiz" Escudero and the couple Cesca Litton and Tyke Kalaw.
"There are other things to think about like my parents going to my wedding. Those things don't really bother you," Heart said in an interview on Friday.
A week after Heart's engagement, Cesca claimed that wedding in Balisin Island Club was bumped off to give way to Heart and Chiz's wedding in February next year.
Despite the controversy, the Kapuso actress said, "I wish them well, [and] I hope they find the best destination for their wedding."
Since Heart just finished her film "Trophy Wife," she focuses on the preparation for her big day. "Almost every day may meeting ako. Ine-enjoy ko siya," she relates.
During the program of the Robinsons Thank You Day event, Heart was asked how she managed to gracefully and beautifully face her daily life as a celebrity.
Aside from using beauty products, like Pond's Dewy Rose Whitening Soft gel to keep her skin beautiful, the 29-year-old actress-host said that being positive all the time helps a lot.
"Hindi naman lahat ng tao perpekto ang buhay. May mga pinagdadaanan kami. Kung may nangyari sa aming buhay, higit pa do'n ng pinagdadaanan namin," Heart said about the life of a celebrity.
"Ako, ang dami ko ng pinagdaanan sa buhay. A lot of heartaches, a lot of frustrations sa career, marami na rin akong rejections na pinagdaanan.
"Pero dumating din 'yong araw na naging masaya ako. Today I'm so happy, I'm engaged sa aking dream guy. Dati crush ko siya, ngayon engaged na ako sa kanya. So sobrang importante na masaya ka. Kasi kahit gaano ka kaganda, ka-mestiza o katangkad, pero kung hindi ka masaya sa loob, it'll show."
