Billy Crawford posts bail

MANILA, Philippines- Billy Crawford is out of jail.

The statement sent by his management this evening said the Kapamilya actor-host “already has been released after posting bail. In the meantime, the schedule for legal proceedings will be announced at a later time.”

Crawford was detained at a police station in Taguig after having a row with a police officer.

“It was my fault pero wala akong nasaktan, wala akong tinulak, wala akong tinamaan kundi 'yung salamin,” he said.

Meanwhile, Vhong Navarro announced earlier in “It’s Showtime” that for the meantime, Billy will not be seen in the noontime show. On behalf of the show’s management, Vhong also expressed their support to him saying, “Andito lang kami para sa ‘yo, Kuys! Hindi ka nag-iisa.”

Coleen Garcia, Billy’s girlfriend, was also absent from the show today.
