Freddie For A Day at Hard Rock

MANILA, Philippines - Hard Rock Cafe (HRC) unites with the global community on Sept. 5 at 9 p.m. as it celebrates Freddie For A Day, an annual charity event that coincides with the birthday of the late Freddie Mercury of Queen. The event aims to raise funds for the Mercury Phoenix Trust which aims to support HIV/AIDS charities around the world. HRC celebrates the annual event with a special performance by Mark Mabasa (photo), who is a finalist in the very first season of ABS-CBN’s X-Factor Philippines, along with his friends from the music industry. The funds that will be raised in the charity concert will be donated to Mercury Phoenix Trust to help spread education and awareness on HIV/AIDS. Fans and music lovers can support the cause and enjoy the music of Mark at the same time as he and his friends dish out a selection of today’s hottest chart-toppers, homegrown favorites, standard hits and party anthems as well as the greatest hits of Queen.
