Anne denies rivalry with Cristine in 'The Gifted'

MANILA, Philippines- Anne Curtis denied that there's rivalry between her and “The Gifted” co-star Cristine Reyes.

This is the second time they've worked together in a film, after the 2011 blockbuster film “No Other Woman.”

“There wasn't any rivalry compared sa No Other Woman na talagang tarayan, e. Dito anong rivalry, e, pareho kaming chaka dito,” Anne said, laughing.

“The rivalry siguro is more with myself, kasi it has been two years since my last film,” the Kapamilya actress said. “So I had to make sure it was different from No Other Woman and A Secret Affair. So doon ang rivalry, with myself.”

Anne even commends Cristine's comic performance in their latest film.

“I think it's a good move for her. At least dito sa film, pinakita niya na she doesn't have to do that anymore,” she said, referring to the latter's usual sexy roles.

When asked if she plans to change anything in her career, Anne replied, “well for me naman wala namang gano'n. I don't have limitations as long as I can do what I love. If it's a challenging role for me, I'm game to do it.”
