MANILA, Philippines - Christmas comes early in the Philippines. As soon as September sets in, the yuletide season begins.
Casino Filipino (CF) embraces this tradition by preparing early Christmas surprises for its patrons. Its entertainment offering, Ber Na, Game Na!, for this month features some of the country’s popular celebrities.
Bong Quintana, PAGCOR’s AVP for Entertainment and Bingo, said every month is a celebration at Casino Filipino but they have long prepared for the special Christmas season.
“September is definitely worth waiting for. Our shows feature veteran performers like Pinky Marquez, Lolita Carbon and Jun Polistico and some of today’s talented artists like Thor, Jimmy Bondoc, Top Suzara, Jinky Vidal and so much more. Fans of these artists can watch their shows in Casino Filipino for free,” Bong noted.
The simultaneous nationwide launch of Ber Na, Game Na! is set today. Featured performers include Renz Verano (CF Angeles); Eva Eugenio (CF Bacolod); DJ Durano (CF Hyatt) and Lolita Carbon (Ronquillo Satellite).
On Sept. 5, a showdown of talents will take place on stage as Pinky Marquez performs at CF Davao; Eva Eugenio, Madison Satellite; Kenyo Band, Malabon Satellite; Carmi Martin, CF Pavilion; and Jun Polistico, CF Tagaytay.
“Expect songs from musicals, popular Filipino love songs and classics not normally performed by other artists in Casino Filipino,” said Pinky.
Pinky said she began performing in PAGCOR’s casinos at the CF Pavilion’s Alegria Lounge. From then on, she has been staging concerts in the different casino venues and even hosted bingo games in Casino Filipino.
Meanwhile, Top (Freestyle’s former lead singer) and Thor also lauded PAGCOR’s continued support to Filipino artists.
Top calls his performances at Casino Filipino a blessing while Thor promises to give his best in his Casino Filipino show.
Top will be in CF Cebu on Sept. 11 and Ronquillo Satellite on Sept. 23. Thor, on the other hand, will perform at the Madison Satellite on Sept. 19 and CF Hyatt on Sept. 20.
