Arjo impresses Hollywood acting guru
MANILA, Philippines - Arjo Atayde (photo) recently joined the rigorous acting workshop conducted by internationally-acclaimed Hollywood acting coach Ivana Chubbuck, whose famous students include Brad Pitt, Halle Berry, Jim Carrey, Beyoncé Knowles, etc.
The workshop was organized by director Rahyan Carlos, the first certified graduate of Chubbuck and head of ABS-CBN network’s talent development.
On the first day of the workshop, Arjo, who stars on ABS-CBN’s Pure Love, recalled that he wanted to back out because he felt intimidated. He eventually got over his fears and took on the challenge. During the workshop culmination, he has impressed Chubbuck so much so he was singled out among the 18 workshoppers and offered to come to her school in Hollywood for a master class in acting.
The invitation has thrilled Arjo no end. It has made him more conscientious of his acting assignments.
