2014 DMC Phl DJ tilt finals

MANILA, Philippines - On Sunday, the country’s best turntable masters will battle it out once again for the right to represent the country on Oct.  5 at the Forum in London.

The Philippine eliminations, billed as the 2014 DMC World DJ Championship Philippine Finals, will be held at Eclipse of Solaire Resort & Casino. Eliminations start at 4 p.m. and finals at 7:30 p.m.

DMC, which stands for Disco Mix Club, is the world’s largest and prestigious DJ organization based in Slough, England running for almost 35 years in existence. DMC Phils. acquired its franchise in 1990. This is the 24th year of DMC Philippines in organizing the annual DJ Championship in supporting local DJs to show their craft in DJ-ing.

From 1991, DMC got DJ Mod as the first-ever Filipino DJ competed and represented the country in the world’s biggest DJ championship followed by the likes of Mega Team, Dub Meh Cramps, DJ Kid, DJ Radikal MK, DJ Coki, DJ Sir Scratch, Jam Masta, DJ Gilbert and DJ Paul, to mention a few.

The event is presented by Solaire Resort & Casino, Mossimo, Crooks & Castles, 10 Inch, Stage Craft Int’l., DJ Academy of the Phils., Funktion One, rappler.com, Phoenix Productions, The Medyo Late Nite with Jojo A., MYX, Business Mirror, Easy Rock 96.3, Wave 89.1FM, Yes 101.1 FM, GV-FM 99.1, Love Radio 90.7, When In Manila, Manila Concert Scene, Phil. Entertainment Portal.

Minimum consumable of P500 applies to all guests. Dress code is strictly enforced no shorts, no sleeveless shirts and no sandals and slippers.
