FPPF launches Photo World Asia 2015

MANILA, Philippines - The Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF) has announced the launching of Photo World Asia 2015, the largest and longest-running photography trade show and convention in the Philippines.

Eduviges Huang, FPPF chair, noting the attendance of sponsors and suppliers at the trade launch, said the 2015 event will be festive and bigger than ever. Theme for Photo World Asia 2015 will celebrate emerging technologies as they help enhance Filipino culture and values.

Pablo Beltran, FPPF president, showed activities for the FPPF in promoting the country, among them the regular photography workshops in Intramuros and the provinces, corporate outreach to teach photography to employees of commercial and industrial institution like PLDT, SSS, Chevron, Landbank and Accenture. Also workshops to enhance the skills of Rizal Park photographers and Crossing Bridges, a community of Asian photographers that go around photographing noteworthy places in the ASEAN region and South Korea.

Amir Alba, FPPF instructor and founding organizer of Manila AVID Photographers, one of 52 camera clubs affiliated with FPPF is chairman for Photo World Asia 2015.

Photo World is an annual event under the aegis of the FPPF for 27 years now since 1987.
