MANILA, Philippines - Edu Manzano and Lorna Tolentino have been proud to say that they have tried the products of Watson Generics first before agreeing to endorse them.
Being the brand new ambassadors of Watsons Generics, Edu and Lorna shared that they are always careful in choosing what products to endorse.

“As you know, Filipino consumers are very personality-based,” Edu said during the brand's press launch. “So you have to be very, very careful with the products that you endorse because...people who look up to you will buy products based on your approval.”
Lorna added that as parents, they choose products based on three criteria: “savings, availability, and quality.”
Besides endorsing the brand, Edu and Lorna also want to inspire the people to live a healthier life.
Lorna revealed that she has quit smoking for "almost a month now."
She added that although she was not a heavy smoker, she said she made a conscious choice to be more healthy.
“Kasi nang mag-50 ako naisip ko, Rudy was gone so soon. So dapat kailangan mas (healthy), lalo na because of my apo,” she said.
Edu on the other hand became more physically active and more careful of what he eats.
It also helped that they both found a new hobby: farming. The two even had a small competition on which papaya tastes better: the one from Edu's farm in Batangas, or the fruit from Lorna's farm in Cavite.
Edu said that after being in the showbiz industry for many years now, it is time to slow down.
“I take a step back. It's time for me to appreciate life to the fullest,” he said.
