E! News Asia features Piolo Pascual

Ver Paulino - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Piolo Pascual (photo), one of the most successful TV and film stars in the country, is set to invade millions of TV sets in Asia with his upcoming special on E! News Asia Channel.

Piolo will open up about his public and private life on E!’s exclusive no-holds-barred, tell-all interview premiering on Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. Piolo is the first Filipino actor to be featured in the new 30-minute E! News Asia Special. He will reveal the truth about all the rumors and myths surrounding him.

Televiewers will also get a chance to see him at his most candid, talking about his aspirations. Get to see him with the people he loves: His family and his 17-year-old son Iñigo.

“They (E!) followed me to my condo, gym, my training place, to my concerts, it was more of behind the scenes. It’s less glamorous I think, candid and spontaneous as we tour (around) Manila, if there’s any surprises I don’t know,” shared Piolo during the press launch held at The Loft at Manansala in Rockwell, Makati City.

“A household name in the Philippines, Piolo’s personality, gravitas and compelling life story are a perfect fit for E!” said Christine Fellowes, managing director of Asia-Pacific, Universal Networks International.

The 37-year-old star has been at the top of his profession for nearly two decades clocking up 20 movies, 10 solo albums and over a dozen TV shows including Noah and Hawak-Kamay.

Current and former co-stars Toni Gonzaga and Iza Calzado, among others, are also featured in the showcase.
