Lovi Poe 'brushes off' reported rift with Marian Rivera

MANILA, Philippines- Lovi Poe breaks her silence on her reported rift with Marian Rivera.

“You know, first of all, have you seen me getting into fights? Because I don’t like fights,” Lovi said in an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal.

“It’s a waste of time. It’s a waste of energy. Ngayon, I’m just here [to] be professional. Nandito lang ako para magtrabaho. Hopefully, everybody can just be professional and mature about it.”

The reports about their rift came out after two incidents. First is when they met in a parking lot, where it was said that Lovi only greeted Dingdong Dantes, her leading man in “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real,” and not Marian who is Dingdong's girlfriend.

Another incident is at the backstage of “Sunday All Stars,” where the reports say Marian greeted Solenn Heussaff but ignored Lovi who is seated beside her. The three were part f the GMA Films 2010 movie “Temptation Island.”

Lovi added  that she's not affected by the issue saying “I’m just brushing it off na lang. Wala namang problema sa akin ‘coz I respect her [Marian] naman. Siyempre, lahat kami dito, parang mas nakakatanda siya sa aming lahat dito.

“So, I really respect her. So, wala nang ano… I don’t wanna have any problems or fights.”

She also adds that she doesn't think there's really a rift between her and Marian. “I don’t know, kasi parang there’s nothing to ano, e,” she replied when asked if she's open to making amends with Marian.

“Kasi, in the first place, I didn’t feel anything… I don’t think there was a problem, sa akin, on my side. Basta ako, I respect her naman, e. There’s no problem about that.”

Lovi is hoping that "everyone will just be professional and mature about it.”
