Deaf-mute beauty named 2014 Queen of the Philippines

MANILA, Philippines - Princess Alanis Pura (center), an 18-year-old deaf-mute, was crowned 2014 Queen of the Philippines Friday night at the Subic Yacht Club in Olongapo City. She will compete in the 2014 Face of Beauty International in Taichung, Taiwan, sometime in Oct.-Nov.
