USA basketball exhibition games on Basketball TV

MANILA, Philippines - Before stepping in the big stage of the FIBA World Cup, USA Basketball’s training sessions are in full swing as they get ready to retain their status as the top nation of the sport. Part of their preparations is a series of exhibition games against teams that are also slated to participate in the games, and Basketball TV has got everything covered for fans of Team USA.

Ever since the disappointments of the early to mid-2000s, the United States men’s national basketball team has been reenergized and made its mark as the best team in the world, winning every major international competition since 2008.

This year, pundits believe that it will be no different. With a talented team headlined by NBA most valuable player Kevin Durant, versatile big man Kevin Love and the sweet shooting guard Stephen Curry, Team USA looks primed to repeat as world champions.

Watch the United States Men’s National Basketball Team’s scrimmages at these dates: USA Blue vs. USA White on Aug. 2; USA vs. Brazil, Aug. 17; USA vs. Dominican Republic, Aug. 21; USA vs. Puerto Rico, Aug. 23; and USA vs. Slovenia,               Aug. 27

Meanwhile, their female counterparts are just as impressive, finishing on top of the Summer Olympic Games five straight times and seven of the last 10.

The ladies also hold the distinction of being the most successful squad in the FIBA World Championship for Women with eight tournament wins, including five of the last seven editions of the games.

National team mainstays Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, Swin Cash and Tamika Catchings aim for yet another winning run in the upcoming world championships. However, after playing the game for so long, this may be the final time these veterans will be able to suit up for Team USA.
