2014 Philpop winners

MANILA, Philippines - Above, left: Jungee Marcelo (with interpreter Kyla) won the P1 million grand prize in the 2014 Philippine Popular Music Festival (Philpop) held at the Meralco Theater last Saturday, July 27. Winning entry: Salbabida.

Above, right: Second honors (P500,000) went to Toto Sorioso (with interpreters Aldrich Talonding and James Bucong). Winning song: Awit Mo’y Nandito Pa.

Left: Third placer (P250,000) was Darryl Ong (with interpreter Kris Lawrence). Winning song: Torpe.

The Spinnr People’s Choice Award (P200,000): Kung Akin Ang Langit by Cecilia “Chi” Bocobo and Isaac Joseph Garcia (with Mcoy Fundales and Clara Benin as interpreters).
