Model denies she's girl in Paolo Bediones alleged 'sex video'

MANILA, Philippines – After Paolo Bediones' alleged sex video became viral, the name China Roces was tagged online as the girl featured on the recent celebrity scandal.

On Monday, China was tagged by some bloggers and netizens as the girl featured on the alleged Paolo Bediones sex video.

China Roces, 22, describes her herself as an “artist/model” on her Twitter account.

She has also been featured on the men's magazine FHM Philippines.

In an interview with DJ Mo Twister on his morning radio program “Good Times with Mo” on Monday, China denied she is the girl in the sex video scandal.

Admitting that Paolo is a friend, China said she first laughed at the issue when she heard about it. But she was later shocked to learn that she was being tagged as the girl in the video.

“Nung una may tumawag lang sa akin. I was at the cinema, halos 'di ko mapanood yung movie because I was shocked. May tumawag sa aking blogger or what na, ganun ganun, 'Madam, check mo yung ganun.' Nagulat talaga ako,” she said.

China added, “Whatever think about me, wala na rin akong magagawa dyan.”

She also took to Twitter to clear her name from the controversy:

TV5 released a statement on Sunday expressing its support for Bediones amid the scandal. Paolo, however, has yet to release a statement regarding the alleged sex video.
